Co-owner Ellen Noble saw the potential in Austin's downtown and trendy central city neighborhoods. In 2002, she opened RE/MAX Downtown Austin to cater to a range of clients seeking the central city lifestyle. The growing demand from young professionals, Baby Boomers and University parents for lofts, condominiums and houses in the urban scene reinforced the need for an internationally recognized presence such as RE/MAX.
In 2005, RE/MAX associate Sam Carroll became a partner in the office, bringing his focus on Downtown and East Austin, where economic revival and affordable housing are drawing both home buyers and investors.
